IS THERE ANY MAINTENANCE WE SHOULD PERFORM ON THE COMPUTER?

TSC recommends the following maintenance schedule based on the computer at the site:

  • Windows 11: Restart the computer once a month. We recommend cleaning out the computer twice a year. Shut down the computer and unplug the power cord. Remove the cover from the system. Use a can of compressed air and blow off the dust and dirt from the cooling fans for both the motherboard and the CPU. Blow off the motherboard as well. Replace the cover, plug the power cord back in and reboot the system. This task needs to be performed by a qualified technician.
  • Commercial Fuel Controller (CFC) running on Windows 11: Restart the computer once a month. This system uses a solid state hard drive and does not require disk defragmentation. Since this computer is fanless and ventless, there is no need to open the case.
